Pool Table Moving
Quoted around the stair, not the mileage.
Teardown runs in a fixed sequence and the rebuild reverses it: cloth, pockets, rails, bed sections, frame, legs, wrapped as each piece comes off. Slate rides upright and strapped, rails ride padded, because rails are what show a rushed load.
A rowhouse flight has to be climbed in one go. There is no landing to rest a bed section on and no width to change grip, so the carry is planned before it starts: who is where, which angle the section rides at, and what happens at the top before anybody takes the first step.
What sets the price
Stair width and kerb space move a number here further than the distance does.
- Three-section bed or single slab, because a slab cannot be turned at the head of a straight rowhouse flight.
- Both routes: the flight and its width, doorways, any pavement hatch, and the walk from door to truck.
- Whether the street is permit-only, and whether a loading space can be arranged for the morning.
- One visit or two, as floor refinishing or a spell in storage requires.
- Whether cloth goes on while the table is already apart, cheaper than a return trip.
A picture of the table and one taken looking up the stairs from the bottom will sharpen the number more than any description.
What finished looks like
We here at Philadelphia Pool Table Movers guarantee all of our work. If you use our services and feel that we did something incorrectly, or that your table is becoming unlevel, we will come back out to fix the issue. This is good for six months after your service is completed.
Our normal appointment times are at 8 or 9 am and 1 or 2 pm. If we need to carry the table up stairs there is an additional cost starting at $45, depending on the table size. On a home to home move we do not charge extra for a single flight of stairs on a three piece slate table. We do not move one piece slate pool tables.
